House Life
and
House Facilities

Learning discipline, self-control, and leadership through everyday house life.

Through well-regulated communal living in a House (dormitory), students learn discipline and then gradually acquire the ability to act of their own volition. They also experience what it is to be a leader in various settings such as school and House events. The bonds with one’s peers developed over this time are an indispensable lifetime treasure.

Each House is fully furnished and contains communal areas, allowing students to live in comfort. Internet access is also provided throughout the school and students can use their school laptops at permitted times - a great help for individual studies and research.

In the Houses, students live under the same roof as worldly-wise House Masters and Floor Masters flourishing at the forefront of world business. Under their tutelage, students will come to understand the rules of society and to develop an enthusiasm for future careers. Parents and caregivers can be rest assured that their children are constantly learning under the watchful eyes of their House and Floor Masters.

We truly hope that when these students join the workforce in the years to come, they will make full use of the strengths acquired in their Houses and play a central role in society.

  • There are 12 Houses (dormitories) in total. About 60 students live together in each House. The 1st floor is a communal area, and the 2nd to 4th floors are students’ living quarters.

  • It is one student to a room, and these common rooms are fully furnished with facilities perfect for studying such as a desk and chair, bed, storage space, and air conditioner. Additionally, each room has a telephone for incoming calls only, so students can enjoy talking to their families.

  • Evening study is conducted in groups. That way, students will get into the habit of studying regularly at a set time, and improve their academic motivation.

  • The communal area on the 1st floor is fully equipped with a microwave oven, refrigerator, sink, and an electric water boiler. All students cooperate and use the facilities amicably. Socializing in this communal area also generates bonds between the students.

  • The Houses are fully equipped with items essential for everyday life such as washing machines and cleaning equipment. By doing things for themselves, students gain a sense of self-independence. There are individual shower rooms on each floor and Houses have a large communal bath where students can soak in a large bathtub and chat about the events of the day with friends.

  • Evening study is conducted in the common lounge on each floor. It may also be conducted in private rooms depending on the situation or students’ school year.
