Kaiyo Academy was established with the support of more than 80 companies, including Toyota Motor Corporation, Central Japan Railway Company and Chubu Electric Power Company.
This enables Kaiyo Academy to offer an extensive learning programme, including special lectures by business experts and company visits.
In addition, Floor Masters dispatched from various companies live with the students in the Houses (dormitories) to support their development.
Through Kaiyo Academy's boarding school education system, which builds fundamental academic skills and nurtures life experiences in a well-balanced manner, we hope that students will develop into adults who can play an active role in society by visualizing their future selves and expanding their individual abilities and areas of expertise.

Kaiyo Academy was born out of a sense of concern by its founders at the lack of people equipped to lead Japan into the future.
To make one’s mark in society, one has to cooperate with many people and build mutual relationships, despite disagreeing with them on occasion.
All aspects of life at Kaiyo Academy boarding school serve as a training ground for the next generation of leaders.

A Kaiyo Academy House (dormitory) is a microcosm of society where each and every student is the main player. In this ‘mini-society’, students are introduced to diversity, where others differ from themselves. Living a disciplined life amid such diversity enables to cultivate sociability, cooperativeness, communication skills and leadership qualities. In their communal lives at a House, we want students to face up to the question of “what kind of person must I be?” When students go out into the world after graduation, I believe that they will go on to become the future leaders of Japan by constantly asking themselves that question based on everything they learned at Kaiyo Academy.
